Transcend Virtual Office Assistants is seeking a Virtual Administrative Assistant with experience supporting healthcare practices. This role focuses on day-to-day administrative support, with an emphasis on organization, accuracy, and comfort working within EMR systems.

This is a remote position. Applicants must be based in Canada.

About the role
You will provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including managing digital records, handling scheduling and correspondence, and maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Familiarity with medical billing is considered an asset
